Hey-ya-how-are-ya?
Spring… ah I wish I could feel Spring again. It seems we have dipped a bit back into winter. Today is the second day, at least, where it’s been raining all day and it has been cold again for quite some time now…
Where’s my warm weather?
I wanted it to be nice on Monday so we could take E to the zoo, but now they are changing the forecast for rain and it looks like we won’t get to go.

I took the picture yesterday while crossing the fjord with the ferry! Pretty color
It’s almost impossible to understand it: *BUT THE SUN IS STILL SHINING!* From blue sky
It has been some really good days here by the fjord. And it is so good walking to work and seeing all the flowers popping up and the trees sprouting their leafs and flowers.
Today I forgott all about my devotion at the place we call “Health center”; among other things there are several of this area’s old people who live in small apartments inside the building or out in some of the adjourning houses. Once a month I visit them, we read the Bible and sings, I have a devotion and we pray together. After there usually are coffee and waffls and other good stuff.
It’s a very nice thing and I can’t believ I forgot
Things like those I’m supposed to remember!! Good thing someone asked for me! I was only 10 minutes late, though. (It might be the weather who is to blame for my forgetting…….. hahahaha)
Hope I only remember to go back home soon; dinner-time
And a little chill out before I’m off over the fjord to meet the local church consile.
By the way: Have I told you that the fjord is green??
It is!! (I’ll show you when I get home)
It’s such a beautiful color; emerald green
*Take care!!*
So I’m just sitting here, minding my own business. Suddenly my t-shirt with covered in jam! I lost my grip on my breakfast
This is going to be a super day!

For the first time in, well, months (!) I will go up to bed and leave my computer alone BEFORE midnight
I’m really proud of my self and must stop writing right now if I shall manage to acctually what I’m writing
Wish you all a good night, when the time comes – and for some of you: have a good day!!
*hugs*

My plum tree just started blooming today
*When leaving your home, and shutting the door: Make sure you got the key in hand, for safe return!*
Grrr! Shut my self out of the house yesterday, before I even knew it I had shut it behind me on the way out; talking on the phone while leaving. It too a minute, then I realised: I have no key!! Not even to the car!
I was never in a real danger for not getting back in, though; I have a key at the office just in case of times like these (safely returned by now
). Because it’s sadly not the first time, and probably not the last either {sight}. But I had to burrow a key to get into the office and use some time to walk over – so I was mighty irritated with my self – again! Will I ever learn??

There was a big welcome for the boat M/S Lofoten when it got here. The boat has travelled the coast in many years, this year she has her’s 40 year celebration. Hurtigruten is a fleet of ships that travels north and south on our long coast. Often the boats visits the fjords and special places. It’s said to be The world’s most beautiful voyage. M/S Lofoten is not part of the fleet today, she’s retired. Now she cruises in our part of the coast (later this summer she’s heading up north for cruise there). You can read more about the fleet here!
This is the first time, at least for a very long time, that one of their boats have stopped at this little place. And stayed for a while too! We was even allowed to go inside and take a look:

The interior was classy and elegant, old ship style
There was many places to sit out on one of the decks, watching as the boat sails along the coast or into a fjord. So now you know where your vacation is next year

And the brass band played both as she came and when she went. There was even served food when the tourists come out of the boat
They could choose between salmon and egg – sandwich and goat cheese – sandwich. Served by women in traditional costumes – BUNAD (sorry, no picture). A lot of people had found their way to the marked; and several things was on sale. A fun day for the town, and knowing the boat will return next monday; and a lot of mondays after that really made my day ![]()

And the children had much fun dancing to the music played

*See you next Monday M/S Lofoten*
Got this note in the mail yesterday, seems like Hurtigruten will come to our little town tomorrow
That can be fun!

They ask people to use the flags (like today) and there will be a market at the pier from 3 to 7 pm. No more sleepy town
Hurtigruta is the route between Bergen and Nordkapp (almost all of Norway – along the coast that is) – there are several ships in the fleet and one of them is coming here tomorrow. I promise some picture
I need some sleep to get ready for ship-watching tomorrow! Night!

*I had a wonderful year with them – and hope that they won’t become strangers*
I’ve been back home for a little while, just jumping around reading little here and little there… Now I will take my coffee and go out in the sun for a while; I love this warm weather
Soon(er or later) there will be rain again – so this I will enjoy!!
The service and all went well. The youths had cleaned up well too
I’m so proud of them! It is really funny to look at photo from last fall; they have changed so much! Now they are celebrating with family and friends and the flags are still waiving in the wind. Ah… life is good! (I’ll post some picture later).
*hug*

In a few minutes I’m out the door. My neighbors have already gotten the flag out (and up). Soon I’ll meet 9 youths all dressed up; happy and nervous at the same time. My sermon is finished and their card is written. Now all that’s left is the service it self; and to dress the youths up in white – like they were the day they got baptized. Now they have chosen to stand by what their parents did when they were just babies. It’s an important day in more than one way! (Even though some of their main concern is how much they get in form of money gift…….) We’ve been through much in a year, both words and experience. Now it’s time to wish them all that good is, Gods Blessing and welcome back!
If you pray; please pray for these wonderful young people today! Thanks!
The weather is beautiful too! Such a lovely day!
*Have a good day!*
*The pizza is in the own – soon to become my dinner tonight*
Now I’ll dump down in front of the telly; hoping there is something to watch. I need a little break from all the words jumping up and down in my head (wow – that’s something to visualize…
) I’m still working on the sermon for tomorrow – can quite get what I shall preach to the Confirmants and all family and friends…. Seems like there will be an early morning tomorrow!
Maybe you can help?? The text is from the gospel of John, chapter 16 verses 5 through 15:
But now I am going away to the one who sent me, and none of you has asked me where I am going. Instead, you are very sad. But it is actually best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Counselor won’t come. If I do go away, he will come because I will send him to you. And when he comes, he will convince the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. The world’s sin is unbelief in me. Righteousness is available because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more. Judgment will come because the prince of this world has already been judged.
“Oh, there is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not be presenting his own ideas; he will be telling you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. He will bring me glory by revealing to you whatever he receives from me. All that the Father has is mine; this is what I mean when I say that the Spirit will reveal to you whatever he receives from me.*
Couldn’t help myself from using this picture of the *blue anemone* (learned that name today
) that I took the other day, as a spring background. I wish I could do something about the red stripes too, but I’m not sure how to work around them just yet
*If you got a tips?? – please tell me!*
*I just love this flower and the blue color of it*
