*When leaving your home, and shutting the door: Make sure you got the key in hand, for safe return!*
Grrr! Shut my self out of the house yesterday, before I even knew it I had shut it behind me on the way out; talking on the phone while leaving. It too a minute, then I realised: I have no key!! Not even to the car!
I was never in a real danger for not getting back in, though; I have a key at the office just in case of times like these (safely returned by now ;)). Because it’s sadly not the first time, and probably not the last either {sight}. But I had to burrow a key to get into the office and use some time to walk over - so I was mighty irritated with my self - again! Will I ever learn??

Oh, I hate when I do that. Unfortunately I’ve done that more than once as well and I probably will never learn either. It’s just a royal pain that always seems to happen when I’m in a hurry too.
Oh no!!
You must make a copy and hide it somewhere outside for the next time.
My in-laws’ have a copy of ours… it used to hang in our garage, but not anymore.
Ohhhhhhhh, I hate it when that happens. I haven’t done it recently. But I have done it many, many times in my life…usually with my car. One doosey of a time was when I locked myself out of my car….when it was running! That was fun waiting for the parking attendants to come and open the car while I looked like it idiot by all the passers by.
Hi Malinda!
Good thing I’m not alone
Thanks for visiting!

Hi Valerie!
(Not in the garage or next to the house at all, by the way)
I’m hopeless at this stuff, so at least one key is, at all times, outside of my house
Oh, Rich!
Your story made my day
I can barely imagine how terrible it must have been for you, standing outside of your running car waiting for help - so sorry for that! But you sure made me smile
And to be honest; I’ve done my share of “locking my self out of the car” too
Have a good week!
that’s funny.. my roommate did the same thing this morning before church. heh.
Hi Tray!
Oh, I feel sorry for your poor roommate; good thing she doesn’t live alone
Tell her shes not the only one
Happy May!
