I’m happily living here even though I was born far from the sea(other part of the country). I don’t have to have water around me, but I do understand why those who are born here feel that why. The fjord/sea gets under your skin in a way. The smell, the sound. And now in Spring: the color 
The fjords are beautiful - so if you can - go see one of them

I’m not sure of the English word, but we call it Rododendron. It blooms usually in may and is a real beauty. The ones in my garden look pink, but turn into white thin flowers. I’ll take some pictures when the rain stops….
