Ooops! Almost forgot to tell you: I’ve got my self a new camera! Yea

I’m still learning how to use it and am a little bit disappointed over the macro (compared to the one I have had on loan from the church…), but other than that it seems like a good camera - that produces good photos And there might be things still to discover!

“The days that went so quickly” is a way to sum up the last couple of days. Not that there was so much to do all the time… but they just went. On Tuesday I went to the city and was so happy when I finally could mail a small album containing photos of me and the house. It was for my son, so that he could get it before I get there…. Nice to know that he, at least, has some knowledge about me and his new home before I come to take him away from all he knows by now. I’m planning to add some more photos when needed as a way to help him cope with all the new things in his life. Tuesday evening I visited Benedicte and family and had a good time with them. I left earlier than I used to, though, and was home before bed…

Yesterday I was at work during the day and at home in the afternoon and evening. I recently has started to upload my photos to an online service where I can buy copies of my digital photos - Eurofoto. On Tuesday I got my first photos in the mail form them and was quite satisfied with the look of them. So now I want to order some more. Must first upload. And that’ll take some time!!

Today, after some time at my office, I went to the city again. We had our first meeting in the local board of Sjømannskirken, The Norwegian Church Abroad. It was nice and a little bit sad because the man that has been working for some years is leaving for another job closer to where he lives.

There is a temporary replacement for him, though. She seemed nice and it was real funny to discover that she was the sister of one of my friends from when I attended a school (folkehøgskule), a loong time ago. I have almost no contact with my (former) friend, but sent my hello through her sister. The world is a strange place

Now I’m just watching TV and uploading photos. It soon time for bed.
..and sorry, I forgot my camera in the car - so there will be an updated TODAY tomorrow…
