Some hands that have done some honest work
Yesterday we finally started painting the room we use for children- and youths activities. It will be a real good place to be, and even after just some hours work it’s starting to lose the classroom character it had.
I’m so looking forward to see how it looks in a short month when I’m back from Ethiopia. Hope I can start Sunday School in there then (well, Sunday School is on a Tuesday, but anyhow.. ;)), and that the youths can start setting up their cafe meting point..
Since Saturday my Spam Karma has sent 210 comments to hell; someone’s been busy commenting!!
I’m still here. Got home from IKEA in one piece; the car fully loaded all “Ikea’d out” - but it was fun, though!! Thanks for joining me Benedicte; I couldn’t have done it without you
I got a new bed and some other furniture for my sons bedroom, I also got some shelves for him to keep his toys and books in for downstairs. And some stuffed animals, small table and chairs and different stuff for the house. Now I’m almost ready to bring him home
(yes, have started to count the days, October 3rd is the day we shall meet!)
I put together the bed late Monday, the rest of the stuff is still just standing there and here. Yesterday went to other stuff (tell you later) - today is my home-day. Hopefully I get a few things in order (with luck - many things!) because this is the only whole day I can spend at home before I leave.
The washing machine is going with the first load, so is the dishwasher. I think I’ll start with the kitchen and then work my way around the house… phu… ![]()
