Well, it couldn’t last…

For a long time now MT has slept well in the morning. Not being up and moving around until around 8 or 9 or even 10 (!!) Off course there has been odd mornings where he’s awaken long before that, but usually I’ve been able to get him back to bed and he has actually slept a while longer.

But not today. He was so awake when he woke me up, I guess he’s been up for a while (judged by evidence downstairs and the fact that he was really cold on his feet). I can’t remember when he left the bed, though, I was asleep…. He’s so quiet it’s scary, but usually he wakes me up right away so I hope this isn’t a new trend…… Anyway after half an hour trying to get him into bed I gave up and got out of bed my self. Then it was 8 am, still dark outside at my place, it isn’t so early but it feels like it!!!

On the bright side, I get to enjoy sunrise - if the clouds will let the sun through. And I get an early start on my washing day… Yay!!

Yesterday early morning, when MT came into my bed bright awake at 4:30 am, after I had read a book until almost 3 am….. I decided: no more of these late nights. No more waken after 1.5 hours with sleep, mostly do to me not getting into bed before midnight.

…. but then I managed to talk MT into getting his pillow and blanket and sleep some more in my bed; which he did. And even though he was up before me later on, he left me alone (almost) until I was quite comfortable getting up anyway. (My son’s a keeper ;)).

And then the rest of the day happened. I spent a lot of time out here. We went over to my friend Beate who was painting in our church’s new room for children and youth activity and brought some coffee to her, and some help. Then suddenly it was time for something to eat, some new hour spent online while MT was playing and/or watching TV. And soon enough it was time for bed. After MT was in bed I started cleaning some of the house. The bathroom was screaming for some, as well as the office/playroom. So I’ve finally done it!! And then I started making order in MT’s things and building up his Duplo railway with stations, a farm and a cargo….(photos coming tomorrow) I had so much fun……………..

And now its only 15 minutes before 2 am. Will I ever learn?!?
(Probably not! ..ehe..)
