I got myself a real scare Sunday morning. As normal I turned on the laptop to take a look out into the www-world. When I reloaded my blog something strange happened. My blog dissapeared, instead a kind of advertising side took it’s place stating that this was limeblog.net. For a while I was afraid that all was lost and that someone else had taken over my domain.
Thankfully that wasn’t the case, as you see I’m back
I had only forgotten to renew my domain, I wrongfully assumed that when the hosting was renewed so was this domain, but I was wrong there!! Finally after waiting for an answer for almost a day I could renew - and this morning my blog was back again.
Next year I hope to remember this ![]()

Oh I hate it when that happens! So far it’s only happened to me twice, kinda. The first time it was a domain for my grandpa’s business and I kept forwarding them the emails that said to renew (that particular company sent out reminders then at like 90 days and then 60 and then 30 and 1 week and 1 day) and kept telling them to do it and my cousin who was handling it kept telling my grandpa yet no one did anything. They lost the domain. It is now a bunch of keywords and searches for the same thing as the business and they had to get a new one. The second one was a domain I bought and then ended up not using and giving to a friend. It wasn’t in my account at godaddy so I completely forgot about it. But we got it renewed the next day.
Glad your site is working again!!
I’m afraid this isn’t the last time I forget… well, well at least the hosting are paid automaticly
