Today was a good day for driving. Lot’s of other folks out on the road, but still easy to drive. Two things I hate when driving: 1. people driving slow (for no good reason) and not making it easy for me to pass them by and 2. people driving to close to my car’s rear end. Today there was only one or two 1’s and just a few 2’s. So it was good!!!
After spending some time running around and enjoying to meet his grandparents, MT finally got to bed at around 10:30 pm. He was so high up there so I was afraid he would have problem sleeping. But he fell asleep almost as the same time as his head hit the pillow. Not once shouted he to me (to make sure I’m around..). Guess he’ll sleep until 8 or 9 am tomorrow. That’ll be nice for me too!
MT talks a lot. I don’t always understand him, but mostly I do. He talks with himself and he loves to tell stories to me or any other he meets. Today he told me that I was something I’ve never been called before:
MT: You’re a boobooboo
Me: I’m what?
MT: You’re a boobooboo
Me: What is that?
MT: A boobooboo
Me: Is it a good or bad thing?
MT: It’s good. You’re a boobooboo.
So I’m a boobooboo, but have no idea what it is - neither can I imagine what it might mean. My guess is that he has heard something similar on TV or something and then he uses it any way he like.

Being a boobooboo might be a good thing!
Welcome back home again!
I’m always amazed when people talk about kids E’s age who have thought like that. E doesn’t communicate with me like that. He talks and asks and answers certain questions but never actually carries on a conversation with me. :\ The closest thing we have for a conversation is me saying, “what do you want?” when he’s throwing a fit and him saying something like “milk” or “bankie” or “pillow,” etc.
Hello my friend! Where are you? Still cooking? Thanks for your visit today.
I also wanted to say : You have a very nice blog here.
Sorry for the off topic comment but do you know what happened to Derby Girl? Her blog looks like it has been hacked and she isn’t answering e-mails?
Guess that’s better than a pooopooopooo ;~)
Yes, Deb, I guess so too
And Val, I think children at this age are so differnt when it comes to this talking bit. MT talkes most of the day, he also talkes to himself while playing (or sometimes he sings). Even though he could carry out a sort of conversation in Ethiopia when I met him, I’ve seen a lot of changes this last few months. He’s a little bit older than Elijah, though, turning 3 this coming Saturday!
Andy I have no idea, have missed her too! Hope she’s okei, though!
Thanks for commenting everyone!
