I just remembered that I was supposed to write an article for our local newspaper conserning the coming Sunday (some thoughts about the text and day in the Church year). It was due today…. Ooops

Guess I have something to do after I’ve finished my little evening meal now. And I who enjoyed reading up on Norwegian blogs, it was so fun!! Well, have to do that later - and get this short article in box first (only ca. 500 word, so not to bad…- But it will take at least an hour or two. Or maybe I write it tonight and then wait until morning to send it, then I can read it with “new” eyes and maybe make it somewhat better too…. (!)

So much for heading for bed early!!

So, I tried to bake bread today… Many years ago, while I was a student, baking bread was a part of my weekly routine.
Both to save money and because I really don’t like dry bread. :s Not at all!! After I started working it became so much easier to just buy bread from the store. From time to time I’ve tried to bake a little, but I’ve never done it more than once a half year….

But now I have a son that love bread. And eats a lot of it!!
I whish he could love mine , so for the second time this year I started baking bread earlier this day. But now I’m kind of sad that I didn’t look up recipes because the bread turned out barely okei :(

After a good idea from my SIL I’m now on my second batch for the day. This time I’m looking more carefully at the amount of flour and water. And I will add carrots like my SIL do (but also oats that I love my self). In a few hours they’re out of the own (I’m not finished with the dough yet and have to put MT to bed in a short while), I hope they’ll turn out super!!

Whish me luck!! ;)
And please, please, tell me what makes your bread super!

The evidence 1 This is what my son does with bread if he’s hugry and I’m not around….
