Okei, so this was not the smartest move. I should have know better than giving MT chocolate on his bread this morning. Sigh! At least I should have saved it and giving him it in the end as a surprise. Not placing it on the same plate as slices of bread with fish on them
What was I thinking?!
At least he has stopped crying now. But only as long as I don’t show him the plate with the fish…. ehe..

oh no!
This is way the outsider asks really silly questions that must be really obvious to people from Scandinavia (and very possibly other sundry parts of Europe). Uhm, forgive my ignorance, but we just don’t do either chocolate or fish as staples of breakfast very often here in the US. Do you say so b/c the chocolate is sweet and he likely won’t eat the fish if it is introduced at the same time? If so, consider this an “Ah-ha” moment for yours truly.
It’s okei Rich, just ask!! I say it because I really was afraid he had given up eating fish on his bread all togheter, (since I find that so good for his health) and that he would make scenes everytime he didn’t get chocolate in the future. Thankfully it went good, he now eats his fish like nothing happened - not even asking for the other sweet stuff!!
And yes, we Norwegian eats a lot of bread (not the light version very often, though…) for breakfast and also in the evening!!
