Things I would love to grow and do in my garden
  1. Flowers! I hardly have any (those I have are beatiful, though!). I need more flowers!
  2. Make a “sand box” for MT to play with his cars and stuff.
  3. Build a low wall or fence to make better flower bed arrangements…..
  4. Paint the wall/fence in a cool and strong color.
  5. Join my friend Beate in search for stones that is suitable for building!
  6. Build flower beds with them.
  7. Finish working in the lower part of my garden. There’s still a lot of branches and stuff that I have to remove. (Everytime when I think about this I get a little bit angry since I was not the one taking down the threes and making the mess…., but there’s notting I can do about that now!)
  8. Painting the bench my father made for me. I’ve finished the first caot but need at least two more.
  9. Enjoy the work and the garden and relax with a book or a fresh cup of coffe - or better, both!
  10. Hang a swing in one of the plum tree for MT to enjoy (and fall asleep on?!)
  11. Trim a lot of the trees and cut off the, what do you call it, the after growth ;)
  12. Pick some flowers (if I ever get this far, I’ve a lot of them…) and bring them in to enjoy.
  13. Make a place to grow my greens, spices and herbs; tomato, carrot, broccoli, onion and on and on; basil, chili, parsley and more.
So I feel like moving right to #13 and #9 right about now; where is the sun???!!! Looking at the list I guess most of this will never be done; but here goes hoping!!!

Is that your garden? Wow the soil looks rock hard - lots of work there.
If you get a wormery style composter you can grow your own topsoil twice as fast as with a normal one, plus happy worms breed and will stop the ground hardening so solidly. Just a thought.
I wish I had as much garden to work with as you - mine has to be either a lawn, or a flower bed or a veggie crop - no space for all three.

  2.  Undercover Angel Says:

I really need to get my gardens tended too. I was going to last weekend, but it still gets too cold at night.

  3.  Undercover Angel Says:

Sorry, I forgot to mention in my last comment that my TT is up.

  4.  carmen Says:

I have a black thumb, unfortunately. I did, however, love my sandbox when I was little!

  5.  Mandy Says:

Sounds like you have some great plans for your garden. Good Luck!

  6.  Wystful1 Says:

I love to garden too!!! They DO take a lot of work and backaches, but ohhhhhhh, the beauty of it all.

Drop by if you can and see if you can guess any of my T - 13 list!

  7.  Angie Says:

I love it, I worked in my yard all day yesterday! Got it looking cleaned and freshly mowed, now I am off to Lowes for some more flowers. I really don’t have a green thumb but I’m gonna try. I have a few flowers that just come back every year with doing anything, thats what I need more of!
    Happy Thursday!

  8.  Laci Says:

    I’m jealous! :)

The only thing I hate about living in an apartment is that I don’t have anywhere to put a garden.

Happy Thursday and thanks for stopping by my blog! :)

  9.  Mrs. Fun Says:

We have a huge sandbox and it’s a love/hate relationship.
My kids would never stay in a swing long enoug to fall asleep,i wish.

  10.  Jo Says:

Seems like when it comes to the garden, there’s always something to do! Good luck on the list.

  11.  susan Says:

I would love to learn how to garden but i dont have a garden, it’s all bricks and high rise building and i live in an appartment, urghh….maybe one day when i have my dream home with a garden…..

  15.  Cristie Says:

I love to garden, too bad I have a black thumb. Seriously, I could kill a dandelion! My mom, grandfather, and my oldest son, on the other hand, are wonderful gardeners, I let them work their magic for me! Thanks so much for commenting on my very first TT!

  16.  Mandy Says:

I can’t wait till next week. We move house and along with the house there’s a lovely garden full of flourishing plants. I need to adapt to having green fingers :=)

I love flower gardens and veggies, but the outdoors air don’t like me. I have major allergies, but I do enjoy looking at what everyone does with their gardens!

  18.  jayne d'Arcy Says:

I would love a swing, but we’d need a tree to support it (and me) first. lol

  19.  tnchick Says:

We have flowers and an edible garden - while it’s work - it’s worthwhile. Also, my kids love a sandbox - they are hours of fun!

My roses are starting to bloom. I honestly want a sandbox for me!

  23.  Ardice Says:

Gardening is loads of work but well worth it. I’m hoping to get some tomatoes and squash out this weekend. I also want to plant some bushes near the front porch. Good luck with your garden, I know it’ll look fantastic.

Thanks for the visit. Have a wonderful evening.

I am just now getting into the gardening thing! I don’t think I’ve been overly successful before but that’s mostly because I haven’t put much effort into it! :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  28.  kristarella Says:

  41.  angela Says:

    Hey girl..

I know about lists like this…I have them for almost everything. But you will get it all done eventually, and when you have children, sometimes it is just a lick at a snake until it is completed…:-) Just enjoy the process and appreciate the parts you DO get done. :-)

Once I cleaned my laundry room…really really clean…and it was the only place in my house that was like that. And if I got stressed out, I would just go sit in there and look at it. Funny, huh?

Thanks for visiting my TT, and you can be “late” on it anytime. Lots of times I visit a few during the week. It’s hard to see all the ones you want to see on Thursday.:-)

    Blessings…

    a:-)

I would head right for #9.

  46.  Jen Says:

These all sound really cool! I’m just trying to get stuff going at all this year… I have a couple up upside down tomatoes (they keep getting eaten by slugs so I hope this will help) and some volunteer annual flowers from last year. That’s about it.

Good job on making plans in your garden!

  47.  Rosei Says:
