Due to a lot of circumstances I’ve not been able to publish this until now; and although I really would want to add some links to the places before I give it to you I simply have no time to do it; and have to put my son to bed in a few minutes too. Hope you can bear with me:s

Norwegian places I’m going to visit this summer!!
in no prioritized order….
- Volda. Visiting my cousin, I’m long overdue; she’s been there for several years and I haven’t been there. Now she’s moving away so it’s a last call….
- Ålesund. I’m thinking of staying there for one night to brake up our journey back home to my parents. It’s a nice city, think MT will enjoy all the water and the boats.
- Lesja. Some years ago I was a pastor in this rural mountain area. Now I’m going back (to show off my son ;)) I look forward to see both the place and the people!
- Lillehammer. Visiting a second cousin. She’s moved into a new house since last time I was there (several years ago) She has a son a year younger than MT and is expecting a new one in November. So lot’s to talk about
- Oslo. Some time, during the four to five weeks summer vacation we’re going to Oslo for a day. To eat at an Ethiopian restaurant and to maybe visit a museum of some sort. And, most important, to have a place to go with train! MT is so ready for a train expedition!!
- Stavanger. To visit some friends of us. Some new and some old friends that I haven’t seen for a long time.
- Haugesund To visit another mother of a child adopted from Ethiopia. The girl is at the same age as MT, so I hope they’ll find each other.
- our cabin up in the small mountain above my parents farm. Not quite sure if we’re able to go that long with MT, but I sure whish to visit this cabin (it’s a simple cabin with only one room; but so many good memories are connected with it from my teenage years).
- somewhere. My SIL has invited us for a camping trip (with tent); we have no idea where. That will be fun!!
- Bergen. Or at least to Ikea
- Drammen. To visit friends.
- Bø Sommarland. A great place to explore the wet outdoors. It’s a fun “land” for all ages with a lot of water activities. I’ve never been there before, so now I really want to go. It’s not far from where I grew up!
- Førde. To catch up with friends when we’re back home in Sogn!!

Enjoy your summer, it all sounds like so much fun. I’m not making too many plans this summer except visiting the mountains.
My list is up. Have a wonderful day. Take-Care…
Each place more beautiful than the next! Have a great summer traveling and be safe!!
Boy, sounds like you’re going to have a busy summer! That’s a pretty ambitious list! I hope you get to go to all those places!
I’m unhooking the box. The last time I got all sorts of emails. I never got that many emails before.
Now I know thanks! You sound like you have a very rounded life very full and wonderful!
So fun! I want to go with you!
Thanks for visiting my TT!
Norway is such a long way away from Virginia! My Grandmother’s maiden name was Bergen. She was from Ireland, but they say the name is from the Viking Scandanavian roots.
Blogger was extremely annoying today. I usually use images in my posts, and nothing doing!
Those all sound like interesting places. How big is the IKEA in Bergen?
That’s a lot of places to visit. I love the sound of the place names.
You will be busy! I love reading about other countries. I hope all your visits are relaxing and fun.
Wow! I am soooo jealous! It’s been a dream since I was a kid to visit Norway…have an amazing time!
stop by sometime!
Ohh I hope you have a great time this summer!!
Thanks for popping by my list!
Great list! (And thanks for stopping by mine earlier.)
Tent camping can be so much fun. I used to do lots of it, many years ago.
Have a wonderful and safe trip! And if you can manage it, I’ll supply the suitcase for me to stow away in - you swing by Canada and come pick me up.
thanks for visiting my TT!
I may get to go to Norway this summer too, but we will see. I was looking forward to the museums in Oslo!
Thanks for stopping by my TT!
I live near the Norwegian capitol of the US, Ballard, Seattle Washington. Jealous of your trip is an understatement!
