My sweet little boy stopped using diapers this summer (at least during the day). The first weeks of kindergarten he had small accidents every other day, but now he’s doing good. I have to remind him, though. The nights he haven’t mastered yet, so he still uses diapers then. Having a 3 yr old is a lot of pee-talk to be honest.
Yesterday morning he made me laugh, though.
The night before I asked if he just could not make his diaper wet during the night. We only had two left (diapers I mean), - and it was three nights before I intended to go shopping. He promised he should try and then went to sleep. When we woke up I told him to please go and pee in the bathroom. But he said “No. Later”.
Some minutes later I mentioned it to him again. Normally this would make him a bit irritated, but this time he looked at me with guilty, yet smiley, eyes.
“Mum, I might have peed in my diapers…”
“You might have, baby,” I said, “as in, you did pee in the diapers!?”
“Yea,” he told me. And then I started laughing, so he dared to let his smile shine as well. His expression and choice of words was just too much, LOL! I love that boy:lol:
What a sweetie! Ahhhh the joys of potty training, haha!
