Somewhere around late October of 2005 I stopped wearing my white makepovertyhistory band. I’m not sure why, I just did. Now I’m wearing it again. Just to remind my self : I’m not alone in the world. When I lack money I still can get food for my son, when I call myself poor I still have petrol for my car. Even though I don’t have much money I’m rich and live in a rich country.
I have meet people that are in fact poor, that live in a poor country and who do suffer. My thoughts go to them, my prayers as well - and some of my money. Maybe more when the white band now are back on my hand?!
