Had it not been for the return of the cold weather around here, there would have been a flooding/torrent of water that could cased a lot of damage to roads and fields and - in worst cases - houses and people. That would have been disastrous. Thankfully the rain stopped and the cold weather froze some of the water for now. This I took yesterday from my car on the way home from work.
That water doesn’t look much tasty!
