go over there!

MT enjoyed playing with our old neighbor E after no see for 4 months. For some odd reason this basket made MT think about the mask bee keepers wear on their faces - and so they sold us all some pretend honey.

It got so quiet here.

My friends have had all their children at home and a few girlfriends as well. For the first time, since MT and E jumped into my bed to wake me up this morning, it’s only me and MT around. But not for long, off course. ;) The others went out to help the daughter’s boyfriend with some car trouble….

Today we’ve been here in the house. MT spent some time outside in the rain playing with E, but I haven’t been tempted to be outside more than a couple of short trips to the car. I’m not that found of the rain. E was brought here by his mother and it was nice to have some time catching up with her as well.

Now MT look forward to visit his old kindergarten tomorrow or on Tuesday, I plan to visit my old place of work and to spend some more time with our friends here. Tuesday afternoon the plan is to go and see our other friends a few kilometers north of here and spend some days with them as well. This is a vacation after my heart = time with friends and a slow pace!

sunset time It’s been 4 months since we left this place. In a way it feels like a lifetime ago, since our life now is so different at our new place. In a way it feels like last week because not much has changed here, my friends are still here, I’m borrowing the same bed and the rain is still poring down like always ;)

It’s good to be back, though, and MT is happy. This is as far as he is concern our home and tonight he told me that the current pastor couldn’t live in our (old) house. And, off course, he was not allowed to have mommy’s job either. :o

Now I don’t want my old job back, nor the old house; I’m quite happy with our new life, new house and my new job. Even the snow all over the place makes me happy, much happier than rain ever could make me…. Off course I miss my friends and MT eatsit’s wonderful to see them again!! I look forward to see more of them over the next few days! And I understand MT’s joy over being here and wish he can bring back with him the knowledge that his old friends still are his friends and that we always can go back here and meet them; at least once a year.

Here he is enjoying a slice of bread in the middle of the night. He could not go to bed hungry not matter how late we arrived ;) Or, so he told me :P
