I just - accidentally - shipped off a bunch of good and decent comments as sp@m. Only the most recent I managed to save. The rest is lost in space….eaten by my very hungry Akismet!

-or maybe a few of them from August when I upgraded the blog. Not that it was so many comments…., but such a STUPÌD thing to do!! Blah.
Yeah I know what you mean but there’s no reason you should have to lose all of it if you don’t want to. If you have any kind of backup at all we should be able to restore your comments from that. August isn’t too bad, for just comments. If you want me to I can do it for you — send me an email and I’ll tell you what I need to know.

I have mine email me backups daily for SF and then weekly for some other sites. So then if something happens hopefully I have something to work with. So anyway check that out for the future, once you set it up, you don’t have to really do anything.
