Saturday I got an email from Jess asking if I would join her “one kit ct-call” one more time, she was about to open her own store (the store is open now, check her out!) and needed some LO’s to go with her new kit Christmas Heart.

I love getting such emails – off course I would scrap for her! After downloading the kit I found that this was a beautiful kit filled to the brim with Christmas love, but without being the standard red, green and white. I’ve had so much fun scrapping with it this weekend and look forward to do more as I get around to it.

Isn’t it GORGEOUS?!!?!!

I have plenty of photos from the last three Christmas’ with MT so it was about time I scrapped another Christmas LO. So this is what I made:

journal: MT’s very first Christmas was celebrated at the farm. Grandma and Grandpa were so happy to have us living there for a month. This photo was taken when we helped Grandma dress the tree on December 23rd. I loved watching how much fun they had together sharing the joy of the season. Christmas is our family’s favorite time of the year!

I did another one as well, but that’ll be for another post, since I have an early morning tomorrow – and it’s already past midnight. Better get to bed soon!! Night

• Off, to clean some more… back in an hour or so. #
• Cleaning my house. So far the living room is starting to come together. Not bad #
• this weekend we have watched far to much tv. at least we’ve done it together… #
• off to church, we’re late as usual….. #
• it’s been a good day, with unexpected visitors and slow pace. i should go to bed now, it’s already late… #
• time to do some house cores and then head outside for a while. see you later! #
• got a visit from my uncle. totally unexpected, but nice wish my house wasn’t a mess, though…. #
• I’m back home and in bed, so tired. Think I’m going to sleep most of tomorrow night! #
• one more coffee before I get my kid home. #
• man, I’m tired, wonder how I’m going to be alert and there with the youths from 6 to 12 pm……. give me strength! #
• got a sms earlier, better check it now that my email is written…. #
• It’s cold today. Brrrr. #
• soooo, better get to bed! #
• I’m soooo tired! Wish I didn’t have a early morning and a funeral tomorrow…………… Guess I have to get in bed early(!) #
• being down there on the floor reminds me, I need to vacuum it!!! #
• oh, no! I just missed a box filled with tiny pearls on the floor… wanna help me pick up??! #

• got almost stuck not knowing what to do for my speed scrapping, but finally I’m on a go… about time, half an hour left. #

Last week MT got an invitation to came to church and receive a gift. So this Sunday he went to church with a smile on his face. As usual we came to church a bit late, and we found our place at the back. MT was surprised to see a lot of other children there and happy to hear the gospel kid from our neighboring village being there and singing as part of the service. The pastor told the story of Jesus for us using a photos that he put together like a puzzle. As he told and placed the pictures another picture was made in the middle. Off Christ stretching his arms out, inviting us to him. I loved it. What a great way to tell the whole story and keeping the children’s attention all the way through it!

MT is a bit shy, and he told me that I had to come with him when he should receive his gift from the congregation. I told him that was okay, but that he also could go by him self if he chose to when we got to that part of the service. And so he did. My kid can’t sit still, so he had already wandered around in the church room anyway. And he had found that a few of his friends were there too.

He was so happy when he got his advent calendar, he completely forgot to say thank you, but hopefully his smile said it all. I stood in the back taking a few photos and I love how they captured some of the joyfulness of the children, even though it is long distance…..

When we got back home, MT went to play on the computer. He love his Glubble

I started to make the gift for my uncle that celebrated his birthday yesterday. It took me some time, but I had fun and the final result wasn’t too bad. Next time I hopefully have some more time to get all the details in place, but we were already late when we left the house so I had to wrap it up and go.

We had a great time with family, my mom and dad, my uncle and aunt and two of their children and the girlfriend of their youngest. It was nice to get to know her a bit as well and MT thought she was so funny and liked that she had time to talk to him.

My uncle is my fathers brother and they had some project they talked about at the end of the evening. I’m collecting a few photos to make a scrap book page about them – and I loved how this one turned out:

So that was our Sunday. A good day! Now it’s Monday and I have plenty on my plate; so see you later!!

Sometimes I must laugh out loud about the searches that’s landing on my site, yesterday these two made me giggle:

1. using lime to remove dead animal odor
2. how do i get lime off my boots

I’m not quite sure they found what they were looking for…..

….but if my blog has a funny smell I’m counting on you to tell me!!

MT is home sick today. Hope he feels better soon, we are planning to go to the farm tomorrow. I reckon he wants to go no matter how he feels, though And he’s not that sick, just a common cold, but he has slowed down, his nose is running and he’s sneezing and coughing, so he’s better off home today. Now he gets some rest so he’ll be ready for new adventures tomorrow.

Now we both have stayed to long on the computers. So I’m shutting off the machines for a while (I guess I will pop in now and then, can’t help my self. No wonder MT thinks computers are fun, I think so too. We are some geeks ). Mainly we need to focus on the house, some food, the mail and maybe take a trip to the store if we can get bothered by that.

Btw, it’s snowing today. So more winter for us, no wonder I’ve started thinking about Christmas lately

I’m working on my everyday life project for November (I shot a photo each hour, more or less, yesterday, and plan to do that each month…) – I have added all the photos, but nothing more. I plan to write a bit about each of the photos and to add some papers and embellishments. So this is not the final result, just ed. 1 I’m having so much fun working with this so I can’t wait showing off the progress!

And now I really have to go to bed. Need some sleep! My kid is a bit sick and will probably stay home tomorrow, so I need all the energy I can get….. He is no fun when he is bored. But he’s really cute, though, and my absolute favorite boy in this wold!!
