Today is my Grandmothers birthday (the one we celebrated on Saturday), this is the day she really is 98 years old. She is feeling the age, but still have a sense of humor and a beautiful smile. She once promised me to be a hundred year old, I’m not holding her to it – but it is my wish to have her around some more years! Go Granny! I love you

We’re trying to get back into our every day routine. It’s kind of hard after weeks in the holiday zone The fact that it was 18 degrees below zero and that the car wouldn’t start this morning, made the whole getting-back-on-track thing kind of hard!! My dad came to my rescue so I could go on with the confirmant classes.  MT, on the other hand, got one more day at home and he wasn’t too thrilled about that, poor thing!

This day I finally found some time to scrap a little.

We celebrated my Grandmothers birthday with friends and family. It was great to be there with her and nice to be with our extended family on my mom’s side; we don’t meet them too often! I had so many photos to choose from, but decided at last on this one where she cuts her cake. Those hands have done so much work and care for us all
