Life is crazy busy right now, here are a few highlights.

My favorite photo of MT at the moment! Taken by our little creek.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG BOY!!
I love you and I am seriously proud of you!! Keep smiling and loving to learn about the world!

Can you believe it?! My kid is 6 years old today! Come fall he’s starting school for real. He’s a big boy now. Don’t think for a minute he lets me forget that
He was so happy this morning, jumping around, opening a few gifts with much joy and thankfulness. When we got to preschool/kindergarten the whole building smelled of waffles. They made it for him
Later today he’s going to get a crown to wear and they are going to sing for him. I smile by the thought of how big his smile must be by then! He’ll also get fun tasks at the table and else during the day.
In the afternoon we are going to have a party at home with his friends. 5 boys and 3 or 4 girls. It’s going to be wild and chaotic, but also fun and memorable. I think I need to charge my camera
My mom is coming over to help me a little (but mostly to keep me sane company).
Now I’m going to make me a cup of coffee and get started on the many tasks around the house. And I have to start making the gello or else it’ll be too liquid to eat (and we can’t have that!).

And HAPPY EARTH DAY to everyone!!
I’ll get back to that part of the day later…..
Monday 23rd:
It’s alway fun trying out someone else’s toys
MT had a blast on our very mini-vacation. We said our goodbyes to our friends and after an relaxing morning we headed out of Oslo. On our way home we made a stop at IKEA and at my brother’s. Two important places in our world
I had to work in the evening, a youth club and MT joined me. When we finally got home we both were terribly tired and full of impressions from the weekend, but so happy we got to spend it with friends and family!
Tuesday 24th:
A super busy day with lots of happening and interactions at work. It went nice, though, and I got a lot accomplished. At home I didn’t do much, other than snapping a photo of this gorgeous yellow flower that I bought at IKEA yesterday. I’m not sure it’ll last long, so it’s nice to have it here alive in a photo (at least – I haven’t been good with flowers lately…)
Can you believe it?! Winter is melting away
Spring has finally decided to come to our block of land.
I’m so happy and love taking photos of all the new life surrounding us. Especially the flowers popping up! Hehe, can you see it was MT picking these two beauties?! He’s picking only the head, nearly no stem
I think hepatica (or what do you call this?!) is one of my favorite flowers – along with it’s white colored cousin (I found some of those today, photos coming…).
Monday 16th:
My favorite Easter mug
I love to hang it on the rack ready for use whenever I need some coffee! I’m happy with the way my kitchen is coming together. I’m tidying it up and moving a few things around. It feels almost like a new kitchen
Tuesday 17th:
Loving my new place in the kitchen. Useful both for surfing and eating!
We celebrated the GREEN and I posted my favorite Irish blessings.
Wednesday 18th:
I was home sick all week. Struck with the flu. My energy level was way low. I only managed to move slowly around and as far as playing with my son we stuck to some simple board game….
I was on the lookout for yellow in our life, though, and some made it as far as here….
Monday 9th:
When we got home from our vacation we got a snowy welcome. No one had been there to shovel it away from our door so I got soaking wet going to and from the car.
My dad came by today even though I was sick and he didn’t have to babysit MT. I think he missed us
lol
Tuesday 10th:
I was sick for a week, the only game I could manage to play was some simple board games
MT was happy, though, because usually we don’t have time to do this on a regular weekday.
Every Easter Day since MT got baptized we have been celebrating the day with family and friends. This year was no exception and we invited our closest family to join us.

Photo from the baptism Easter Day 2006.
But first I had a little work to do, an Easter service up in the mountain. In a small, cozy church. I didn’t bring my camera, so I have sadly no photos to show. The service didn’t start before 3 pm so we had plenty of time to enjoy the morning and early day.
MT was happy to find some candy for him in the living room and thought it was a nice breakfast (ahem).
We spent the first week of March with friends in western Norway. So nice! I took a bunch of photos and it was not easy choosing just one, but I really love this one of the youngest daughter of my friend closing and opening the door. We spent the daytime together with her and her mom. In the afternoon MT got to hang out with the slightly older than him twin girls when they came home from school. They had a super time together both outside and inside. It’s so nice to see how well they play together. It was pancakes for dinner, MT’s favorite – could his day be any better?!?

Tuesday 3rd:
One of the great things about visiting friends is to enjoy a meal together, here one of the twin girls are lighting the candle for the table.
Monday 23rd:
I had the morning and first part of the day off, so I got to outside and take a few photos of the winter sunshiny weather. It was so nice!
Tuesday 24th:
I’m so far behind with these project 365 posts that I’m doing weekly summaries instead of one post per day. I’ve already posted Monday of this week, here is the rest:
Tuesday 17th:

I spent most of the day at the office. MT was in preschool and happy about that. Nothing much happened, and I didn’t even take a photo to show for it either. So I’m choosing this one from February 8th.
