I’m so glad we didn’t hang out at home until it had been to late for a bath. That happens sometimes. But today we managed to get out of our house and drive to a great place for bathing right by my parents house. We even got my mom to come, she brought coffee and cookies and we spent a few hours by the lake together.

He’s not as eager to go out and play in the rain as he was when he was little, but he still loves to make his own dams and rivers on a good rainy day.

Sometimes the sunset really is strong in color. I love how the river reflects it.

Today we visited IKEA and MT got to try out how a Loft Bed feels. He’s warming to the idea, but still thinks he has an alright bed as it is. I don’t agree, so come fall we’ll be back buying this one. | Note to self: I have to make a blog post about this day and the trip to IKEA, not often we are told to leave the building, I’m just saying… |

Every now and then MT asks me to come and play some football (soccer) with him. This time I tried to capture us while playing. The photo is just a strange one, but it makes me happy.

He insisted on taking a bath. The water was cold, so this is as far as he got. But at least he got to try.

After driving all night we were greeted by the morning sun on the ferry taking us over to the north side of the fjord. It’s so good to be with friends for a couple of days, an so great to be in the western side of Norway again. I like it here.
