Monthly Recap | April 2011

There are so much that happens during a month; so many memories; so many conversations and interaction. I love to capture a few moments of this; snapping a photo; putting together a scrapbook page or writing a story. Some of it for sharing; some of it for keeping close to my heart. By the end of each month I want to take a little pause. Stop for a moment and look behind on the days we just have lived.

This was how the Monthly Recap of this blog came to be. Highly inspired by Katie the Scrapbook Ladys and her RoundUp posts. I’m trying to keep it fairly easy on my self, but at the same time I want to bring a few numbers to the table as well as a few highlights and (maybe) some low points as well. Since being a pastor is such a big part of my life, I’ll throw in a few numbers from that as well.

So here we go, this month:  April 2011, in numbers

Highlights

– MT have some new neighbors at his own age, loving to play with them after school.
– I’m inspired to keep up with my 365 photo project at Capture your 365. Such a friendly place!
– MT have tried the river water, it was fun – but cold.
– We spent Easter together with family and celebrated the 8 year old :D
– Spring came with lots of sunshine and warm weather. Enjoying it!
– MT had lots of fun playing in a football cup + staying at a hotel with a large indoor swimming pool.

Low points

– My back is acting up. Think it is the muscles having some sort of fun with me (not!). Feels better today, so hoping it’ll go away soon. I have lots to do in May.
– Haven’t gotten around to install more RAM at the desktop computer, it runs really slow – and MT is longing for a few games of FIFA.

……………………………………………………………
And that just about covers it. Look for details on a few of the above mentioned happenings in a blog post or a digital scrapbook layout in the future. There is always more to tell :D
