365 photos x2 | January

My word for this year is STORY. I really want to tell more of our stories, small ones and big ones.  I will come back with much more of why and how I’m thinking it will be visual in my life, but right now I want to share with you two slideshows made with my take of the #cy365 and #fmsphotoaday challenges. Hit the play-button too see the January photos.

My goal is to shot 2 photos a day on my phone. Some days there will be many more, other days there will be only 1 – but that’s okay. I’ll follow the prompts as much as I can, but the main goal is to tell everyday stories.

Thanks for looking.

A Photo A Day | On Track

Daily instagram | Family

I feel so proud of my self for taking a photo a day with my phone + instagram everyday since January 1st. I’m not on track uploading to the CaptureYour365 gallery (off course, something have to give in my busy life – but I hope to finally get it there!), but I still have photos chosen – and that is more than what I have from some of the months last year (ops!).

I have a app that helps me see them all at once and here are the screen shots from the last months.

Project 365 | February 2012

Project 365 | March 2012

Project 365 | Midway April 2012

I hope to keep it up all year long. Excited about all the little moments of our life captured 😀

So what do you do to keep track of the everyday moments and memories?

On A Busy Day | Thankful #3

This day have been a long one and demanding as well. Sometimes my work takes over my life and I feel like there is no room for me to breathe. This is especially true when the day is filled to the brim with meetings and classes and I interact with people all day long, and in the evening too.

I am tired, but also thankful for the good happening from this day.

I am thankful for the help of a friend today
I am thankful for a meeting going well
I am thankful for some nice and sweet words said to me.

Thankful For Tea | Nov. 3-2011

But most of all I am thankful for my little ritual of drinking a cup of tea in the evening. It gives me warmth and slows me down. Gives me a place to breath. Even on a long and busy day.

My favorite tea right now is Lemon & Lime Zest from London Fruit & Herb company.

I love all their flavors though. And they have a bunch!

And fruit tea is really the best way to go in the evening, doesn’t make you as awake as other kinds 😉

—————————–> What are you thankful for today?

This is the third post in a series of Thankful post for the month of November 2011. I use the prompts from Katrina Kennedy’s November Photo Idea List as a starting off point and find at least one thing I am grateful for each and every day. If you want to play along please share your thoughts in the comments or link us up to your blog.
