Sorry for suddenly disappearing. I forgot (as always at this time a year) to renew my domain. And, off course, my host didn’t bother to tell me before it was too late (the truth is I asked them if the domain wasn’t up for a renewal soon. The answer was: Yes. Yesterday!)
As soon as my house is clean I’ll be back to tell more from our wonderful vacation in western Norway and also how good it is to be home alone one whole day while MT is in the kindergarten having fun
But first dinner
…I guess I’ll be back before the house is clean, though, that would take forever - or so it seems!

We are planning to drive back home today. But what mountain pass to chose? Seems like most of them are closed because of the weather
Sadly I have work tomorrow or else I would have asked if we please could spend another night at our friends. We might have to drive all the way south to the Stavanger area, before heading east and north again… That is the long way home!
Wish me luck
We’ve had a wonderful time with friends, though. Glad to be here with them again after months away from them.

It got so quiet here.
My friends have had all their children at home and a few girlfriends as well. For the first time, since MT and E jumped into my bed to wake me up this morning, it’s only me and MT around. But not for long, off course.
The others went out to help the daughter’s boyfriend with some car trouble….
Today we’ve been here in the house. MT spent some time outside in the rain playing with E, but I haven’t been tempted to be outside more than a couple of short trips to the car. I’m not that found of the rain. E was brought here by his mother and it was nice to have some time catching up with her as well.
Now MT look forward to visit his old kindergarten tomorrow or on Tuesday, I plan to visit my old place of work and to spend some more time with our friends here. Tuesday afternoon the plan is to go and see our other friends a few kilometers north of here and spend some days with them as well. This is a vacation after my heart = time with friends and a slow pace!

Dear HM!
I’m sending you this digital hug from me and MT.
One year ago we gathered to celebrate your baptism. One year ago you were so tiny, now you are big
We love you and we miss you! And so wish we could spend the day with you (several days for that matter!), because
you and your family are one of the few that we miss the most. I hope your day was great and that your mom and dad lighted the white candle and that both of your sisters joined in the celebration.
Hope to see you soon, honey!
We blow Gods blessings and all the best in your direction

It snowed a bit today as well. So it’s like a normal day around here lately. But where shall I put all the snow when I finally get around to try and make the little path to my door a little wider?!
When I left work today I felt like I’d done nothing right. I knew it was wrong to think like that, but I still did. Mostly because two of the tasks of today didn’t end like I wanted.

It frustrates me when things don’t work out the way I intend and want. So now I have Confirmants that are angry with me and I’m not able to join my father at a farm-related seminar this coming Friday. Bummer. I can live with both, though, tomorrow it won’t bug me (so much).
The other day I saw fresh elk tracks right beside my garage. Good I didn’t meet him in the darkness. I need to put a light on that garage of mine, it’s way to dark there…
The woman that fell down the staircase at church yesterday seem to recover good. She’s hurt, but nothing is broken as far as the doctor can tell. She is one lucky lady. That landing could have been far worse and more devastating.
But I guess there will be a discussion about the use of the staircase within the congregation and church staff. This is just what we have feared!
Today we put the Christmas decoration back to it’s boxes and trowed the tree right out in the white snow. I’m torn between feeling relieved and free - and missing it all; we are after all Christmas-loving people in this house.
So I still drink my coffee from MT’s snowman-cup
(and off course I’m not quite finished with all the trowing out business, got stuck on the computer for some odd reason
)
One of these days months I’m going to update the layout of this LIMEblog. Maybe I’m going for the K2 around here as well. I sure like it at the church site! An update of the wordpress power is needed too! So much to do - but now I’m soon off to bed. Have to have some sleep!
Randomness over - so how was your Monday? - happy week everyone!

I still feel a bit shaky. Today, in the service, one of the choir members fell down a long and steep staircase when she intended to join us for communion. The noise was so loud and we all got scared, thankfully she quickly got help from those around her - we all felt the fright of the fall and felt for her. She didn’t dare to get up and laid there until the ambulance people came at the end of the service. Now she is on her way to be examined. My hope is that she didn’t break anything, but of course she got hurt when she fell.
I am keeping her in my prayer today; if you pray please remember her too!
Update: Thankfully it seems like she is doing okei, even though she is in pain after the fall there is nothing broken. That’s a good thing, but I feel for her and know that she has a period in front of her with recovering before anything is back to normal. /update..

The new year of 2008 have already started, but I still want to go back and see: what was this blog all about in the year we now have said our goodbyes to; 2007. I’ve chosen one happenings, thought or something from each month:
- In January we had to say goodbye to a Friend whom we still talk about from time to time. He left a wife and young son, we haven’t had much contact since we don’t live at the same place - but I think of them often! It has been a though year for them. This was MT first funeral and he had - and have - a bunch of question about death and what’s happening after death and so on….
- Then came February and we got to feel the winter season when we drove home to Telemark over snow-stormy mountain.
- In March MT got me a bit scared after telling me that he did not open the laptop when he was all alone in the living room one morning…
- April was MT’s month with both one year since his baptism and celebrating of his 4th birthday. It also was the sunny easter month
- In May we went on our great and fantastic vacation to North Norway, that sure brings back a lot of warm memories (and no, I’m not talking about the weather!)
- June was last time I cut my hair! It’s grown a bit, to be honest…. I’m not good at this; going for a hair cut and such.
- In the beginning of July I got to celebrate my birthday with friends on the west coast of Norway and developed my very own summer theory! Miss you guys!
- In August I tried to reopen my Serendipitybag, -I guess it’s time for another opening soon
- September was my last month as pastor by the fjord. It was a strange month, with it’s ups and downs. But I’m really proud of our angel workshop service at the end of the month!
- In October we moved from the blue and beautiful fjord and inland to the magnificent Telemark high land. It was not as easy as I wished, and we still have a few of our belongings left at our old place. Guess we have to go there sometime soon
- It took us some time to get used to our new place of living (we still haven’t sorted out it all and it’s boxes and stuff at the wrong place in every room….). But when the snow came in the middle of November we both found good reasons to smile broadly. We love it!
- December is what every child is for the children and we tried to do a few things together and not run everywhere all the time. It was a great month and when the broad band finally came through it got even better!
That’s my blog year in review!
I don’t make any new-years resolutions, but I do wish to get more time for blogging this year. I feel that 2007 was too slow in that area….
It’s also a great way to stay in contact with our friends at the west coast - and other places far away - and I’ll recommend it to anyone
BEST WISHES FOR 2008
01

Just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year. We’ve had lots of fun watching the firework outside. I even tried to take a few photos of it
The best one, from my cell phone.

We wish you all a Blessed and Joyous Christmas!!
The Santa is a bit blurry, but I loved his smile
Take care!

It’s a busy time of the year, but I try to enjoy it as well and not run around like a crazy person
This is my to-do-list of today, it’ll have to be done before we leave for service at around 2 pm. So I better get some food and some coffee to get me off on a good start…
- write the last Christmas cards and possibly post them
- wrap up the remaining Christmas presents
- figure out what to get to my friends two children - oh, yea, I’m late!
- write the prayer for tomorrow’s service
- find clothes for today, tomorrow and second day of Christmas for the both of us!
- take a shower
- - and put MT into it one as well
Hopefully that’ll be all!

I have - finally - broad band at home! Now this house feels like mine
For a while there I thought I wasn’t up to set it up by my self, but then I discovered that I had the cables all mixed up. Blah! Good thing I didn’t call support…. That would have been embarrassing.

I might not use it every day, but it sure feels good to be able to if I have something to search for, read or comment. This past two months without internet have sure made that clear! I’ve been frustrated more than once, to tell the truth..but not any more!
LOL; I’ll make a longer post another time. Now I’m just happy!

We’ve had snow for several weeks now. That is one of the good things about living here (although we miss you guys by the fjords a lot!). Here are a few winter photos:

I’m opening the comments again. Think I have fixed it and that it was a wrong in the table at mySQL, if you see anything funny -> let me know!!
Have a wonderful Advent!
I’ve given up the hope for a broad band at my home any day now - but hopefully we’ll have it by Christmas! Blah!

For some reason my comments crashed
I have no idea why and sadly no time to repair it right now, so for a short (I hope) while my comments will be off!
The strange thing is that nothing has changed at my blog lately, except for the post I wrote on Friday (back then there was no error message). It might be that my subscribe-to-comments - plugin is acting up, but I’m not sure?! Help is appreciated!!
If you don’t have my email - go to my vox and comment there

Anyhow, my week is busy! So I better run - hopefully I get broad band at my place by Friday (if I can sort out the lines with the phone company, that is!) - I look forward to spend some time online without being at work! (I guess my employer also look forward to that….. LOL). And MT is going to spend a few days with his grandparents by the end of this week, so I have some extra time on my hand to do both work and personal related surfing
Have a great week!!

So now I’m frustrated!
I’ve been waiting for my broadband for 4 weeks now, and yesterday I emailed the company and asked why I haven’t heard from them. You know what they answered?! Go and make an order online! I thought that that were just what I did all those weeks ago. I admit it wasn’t online, since I spoke to them over the phone - but as far as I can remember they got all the required details from me. And now they need it another time! And why, if for any reason they hadn’t enough information, didn’t they ask me for more?!
Seems like I never did that first order - so now I probably have to wait another 2 or 3 weeks! Arrrrgh!
Yepp! I’m a bit angry right now, and the email I sent back wasn’t as nice as my emails usually are…..but they had it coming! To bad this is the only company who provides broadband in my area
- for me, I mean
There will be more to this story, me guesses….
