spor_tru I’ve made this logo for the whole Confirmant Program of the year 2008-2009. We are on the track of Faith (track mainly because we are going to camp in January/February using the railway - and off course because it fits with our main goal).

spor_GudTogether with the youths we are going to search for answers to who Jesus was and is, what God is all about and if this has anything to do with them and their life (to put it shortly….).

Hopefully they will find that they are loved by God and hopefully they will find something to build their life upon.  My main goal is to show them that Faith matters and that they are important and valuable in Gods eyes and plan.

This first month we are going on the track of God. And I kind off like this logo better than the other one ;) so we might be on this track for a while…. No, I’m kidding, but there might be some revisions for the left one some day.

out riding my bike; scrap

I loved taking MT to kindergarten by bike and feet, too bad we now live to far away to do that often. I think he loved it too and he felt so big riding his bike on the road and all…. ;)

After a couple of months scrapping I’m hooked. It is soooo fun! You should try it sometime :D

One of the great thing about digital scrapbooking is that there is so much to choose from, come to papers and decoration. I’ve found several wonderful places to search, but one stands out. At Songbird Avenue it is possible both to get and to give! Each month a new beautiful and creative kit comes for sale, and most of the income are passed on to a charity of some kind. What a wonderful idea. :)

This months kit are named Change.

I’ve used it a lot this month, and today I made the above srap for the Scraplift Challenge.

The inspiration for my scraplift I found in Christy Lyle’s scrap page about her daughter, Posing Princess. I loved her blocks of paper behind the photo and my plan was to also use a image with less colors, but well, I love the colors of my photo and made the papers a bit less colorful instead ;)

He he, I just realized it when I got down in the living room:

We got out of bed to early; one hour early !!
Upstairs I’ve been rushing MT to get his clothes on, for kindergarten, or no - so he can watch TV ;)

This isn’t going to happen again anytime soon, so we’ll just enjoy the quiet morning!

card

I settled on this verse from Matthew 6:33:

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

As usual I found the photo at stock.xchng., it is so much to chose from there, this one was taken by brainloc.

Just playing :D
Will change it soon, after dinner ;) A little bit too much, don’t you think??

UPDATE: I’ll let it stay some days; is kind of fun, though not beautiful ;)

new york

Finally my last picture from the trip to New York back in 2003 is in place on my photoblog. I have been so slow posting the last few of them; but now they are there :D For some reason (I haven’t figured out why yet..) I’m not able to edit the pictures, so please forgive any misspells and wrong grammar - I’m not able to make it right at the moment ;)

About the skyline:
Each time I see this picture I look for where the twin tower should have been. The skyline, though still beautiful in my eyes, isn’t quite the same after 9-11th! My thoughts goes out to those who suffered loss that day (and the days after..) God bless the memory!

I just wanted to show you this years Christmas card. I’m not quite finished, but am getting there. :o) (20 out of 45….. - and then there are some text for the inside…)The picture in the post below shows the cards front and back (a little angel cut-out.) The black thing is a camel whit one of the wise on board…. The white text is a Norwegian Christmas song, a little over ten years old - so it’s still new! In reed it is written: Merry Christmas!

 Posted by Hello

Here is my try on a translation for the song(forgive me if the grammar are wrong!):

One newborn love are sleeping.
Now Gods heaven is close.
Our long journey is over,
the star have stopped here.

Gods blessing to everyone!

Got my self some blinking stars in the heading. I like them (Link to cutecolors who made them) I love stars, and keep adding new stars to my collection of advent stars for my windows. This year I’m a little late, but by tonight my windows (not all but quite a few) will have stars in them.

It is one of the advent symbols (the other are the adventwreath, as you may have guessed) that are important to me. It tells the story of the wise men looking at the star and following it to the stable where Christ was born. I love the story and their search for the newborn king. That’s why my advent is filled whit stars - I follow it as well and every year it leads me right back to the stable and my King: Jesus :o)

And learned a new word ;o)

I couldn’t use it in every post though - and that is OK (I have my dancing snowman for that!) I just have to change the image in my template for every week……

Today I slept in and even when I woke up I could not get my self out of bed in some hours so things are going kind of slowe here today. But that means time to spend out here whit you and that is nice!

Well, can’t be here all the time. Have a to do some housework and something whit the adoption - must get the papers sent this week, and there is still some missing (also some that I shall write….. )But first… I dwell here a little while =>

…. anyone get a good tips where to look??

I would like a little candlelight burning in my post. One this week, two next week and so on….

Tell me if you know!!

Love
anne berit ;o)
