Why is it that every Saturday night I feel like I have the same problem; no movies to watch on my television!??! I have plenty of channels but not any of the movie-all-day-long kind. But still; no movies to watch! Arrrgh, I do have to see a DVD instead like every other Saturday (almost).

The choise for the evening is: “My big fat greek wedding”. I’ve seen it before, but not as many times as “Twister” that was the only movie on right now……. I’m ready to laugh now :D

It’s late Sunday evening, I just wanted to relax a bit and spend some hours enjoying a simple movie. But nothing is on, only soccer and some documentary- and reality show. I want my Sunday movie back!! If there only had been a place to rent movies around here….

Maybe I should read some blogs??!! ;)

Oh, crap, my tv-night got cancelled due to only sports broadcasting on the designated channel. I’m so disappointed and a little bit fed up with all this sports in my tv, I didn’t pay for that!! Or, well, I guess I kind of did since it’s in the package; but I didn’t want to do it! :(

Blæh!!! (blah…)

Yesterday there was a big concert in Tromsø; far north in our country. It was in support of Nelson Mandela’s work against HIV/Aids. A lot of big shot musicians performed, as well as some local/Norwegians. Nelson Mandela himself gave a speech. 18000 attended the concert, sadly not me; but I got to follow it through television, half yesterday and the other half today. It was truly amazing and I wish I could have been there! The goal of the concert was to raise awareness about HIV/Aids and to raise money, during the broadcast about 10000 Norwegian kroner got collected (multiple with 6 or 7 to get the approximate amount in US $) :)

The concert was named 46664 Artic; the number being Mandela’s prison number. This is not the first concert and will not be the last; but I guess it was the one farthest north. Thankfully the weather in Tromsø was great and the midnightsun made it light during the night as well!

Well, got to post a little today even though the thing I should to is clean!! ;o) Not my favorite hobby, but I love it when it’s finished (but today I’m not sure it’s ever going to be finished).

Earlier today I was out of the house for some hours, and met a lot of friends and people I knew when attending the advent gathering on the mission centre close by.

My plants have gotten something to live on, some of them even new sand… Thanks for the impulse B! Have tried to sort out all kinds of paper, magazines and so on - what to keep, what to read before throwing, what to throw… The papers keep piling up on me, like it always has done..

So looking around me I see that I got something on my list done!
The above mentioned and more(!)

Tomorrow is a new working day for me. I’m going to a neighbor church and need to leave early to get there in time. Whit other word: I shall try to go to bed before midnight for once!

I still have one episode left (recorded yesterday) of this weeks rerun of “Seventh heaven” - so I think I’ll just pop that in and relax a little!

Here is some recent picture from the series. Visit the site http://www.thewb.com/ and search for 7th Heaven ;o) Posted by Hello

There is one thing that relaxes me. It is an hour with the Camden family :o)
These days there is rerun of the series and I tape it every day, looking forward to jump down in front of the TV whit some kind of dinner - and a “new” episode.

I smile, cry, laugh out load and get something to think about. Of cause something is familiar since I’m too are a pastor. Something are plain fun! I have no problem seeing the American way in the series, and the American values - some of them I like, some not. But still the series makes me feel good. If I one day has forgotten to set the video, I get upset when there are no video to watch. Sometimes the weekend are long without my hour in 7th Heaven! (Yea! I know I’m hooked!) I wish the series goes on forever, and that Norwegian television keeps buying new sessions!

You haven’t seen it yet?? You should!!

I don’t know anything that boring but an hole evening full of football!!!!!! I’m sorry to say it but I find it not interesting at all (I know there are many who do - so I apologies to you!) - I would rather have a movie or something comedian than football, but nobody listen to me…

I know there is big money at stake, and if anybody will watch I don’t mind at all - but why shall it take up an hole evening??

I just ask :o)
It’s not a big deal, really!
…Just a little bit bored right now - and still not fully recovered from my stomach-sickness….

There is a sensation of peace and calm that comes after finishing a service. I can’t describe it, but I guess it is similar to the fridayfeeling after a week at work. Only that this sensation not only are because I’m finished, but because the service we’re held together has given me something that linger in me.

Now I’m going home for rest and food. If I run I will reach a favorite TV-series also (McLaouds Daughters - ops, not quite sure of how to spell the namne…)

So have a nice week!
Love from anne berit c”,)

Of this days total 9,5 hour workday, most of the time went to youths’. Either preparing or being with them in confirmationclass, and in a group preparing the service on Sunday. I love working with this age, but it is also challenging. Many times I wonder: “Do they even hear what I’m saying?” and “Do Jesus matter in theirs life?” Maybe I never know, but this I know: They’ll surprise me!

Now I must run home, Gilmore Girls are starting every moment :o)

God bless!!
