It’s alway fun trying out someone else’s toys MT had a blast on our very mini-vacation. We said our goodbyes to our friends and after an relaxing morning we headed out of Oslo. On our way home we made a stop at IKEA and at my brother’s. Two important places in our world I had to work in the evening, a youth club and MT joined me. When we finally got home we both were terribly tired and full of impressions from the weekend, but so happy we got to spend it with friends and family!

Tuesday 24th:

A super busy day with lots of happening and interactions at work. It went nice, though, and I got a lot accomplished. At home I didn’t do much, other than snapping a photo of this gorgeous yellow flower that I bought at IKEA yesterday. I’m not sure it’ll last long, so it’s nice to have it here alive in a photo (at least – I haven’t been good with flowers lately…)

Wednesday 25th:

Another thing I bought at IKEA a new pillow with lovely yellow/green color and a bit of blurred print (not so much what catches the eye when you see it in real life, but certainly when I closed in on the pattern like above…).

I had the day off, but did do some planning for the next days/events. It snowed a lot and spring got covered….

Thursday 26th:

Every night MT has to have some time in the bathroom, reading donald duck magazines and doing his thing on the toilet I think this is important to him, both for his stomach to work and for him to regroup and recover. It’s a nice time for me as well, I tend to use it for some internet surfing.

This day at work I was worried because I should visit a couple of 8 grade classes. But it went fine and I had a great time getting to know them and telling them a bit about what a pastor do and how a service at church looks like (-and why).

Friday 27th:

It’s been coming some snow on and off all week, this is what I see outside my office (at home) today. Where is spring?!

This Friday it was time for our yearly Confirmant Cup (or what to call it?!). From 21 pm to 8 am we were awake and together with around 200 Confirmants from churches around here. It was just as tiering as I knew it would be, but it went really well and we had a great time together. Lot’s of walking, lot’s of smiling, lot’s of making sure everyone were happy – and some making-sure-they-know-the-rules (I had this group of young people I kept chasing from place to place trying to catch them smoking, blah, but that was the only trouble we had all night, yay!!)

MT spent the time with Granpa and Grandma at the farm. He had fun too

Saturday 28th:

At 9 am I left the building and went home to sleep. It took me some time to relax, but when I finally stated to sleep I had trouble stopping. So I spent most of the day in bed. When I managed to drag my self out of it again it was afternoon already and I jumped in my clothes and went to the farm to be with MT and the rest of the family.

Sunday 29th:

We spent the day at the farm and in the bright sunny weather. It was so good to feel how spring is approaching and to relax at the farm. Here MT and his Grandpa is having a snow ball match.
