hehe, I’m trying to make my self feel better. That’s the only reason for the heading!!

So my car stopped on me yesterday. I was in a hurry, on my way to the farm to practice with my brother (we are going to sing for Grandma – as we promised her so many years ago.) Then the pastor should come by and we should prepare the funeral with him. I’m so glad I can concentrate on the words about Grandma and then the other pastor takes care of the rest. I think my kiddo need me by his side to – and I need some room for crying a little as well.

But I digress (happens a lot lately).

I was driving. And then suddenly the car engine just shut down, I heard a scratching noise of metal against metal and that was that. Luckily I found a place park the car and I got it out of the way completely. I was so angry with it and to be honest a bit freaked out! I had no time for that kind of thing on a busy day.

But I had to wait. A neighbor stopped and kept me company (thank you!) and my dad and brother come by as well. In the end the rescue truck also came and brought my car to the garage. And there it is. I should call them and ask, but I don’t want to hear how much it’s going to cost me.

Oh, well, the good thing is that now I’m driving my old car again. (I gave it to my daddy and he repaired it – smart thing). And that is kind of nice. MT loves it too.

Have a great day everybody – and please (MT is telling me to say it): talk nice about and to your car; it deserves it for driving all those miles in all kinds of condition! lol.

I was a bit worried about the car this morning, since it was quite early. But it started and I was only my usual 7 minutes late for staff meeting. I really don’t do early morning meetings that well, to be honest: I try to avoid them

In the evening I had confirmant parents meeting – and that is always a scary thing It went okay, though. MT got to spend some more time with our new neighbors and stayed with them while I was at the meeting. How nice is that!!

We didn’t manage to get the ginger bread house build as planned this Christmas. We opened it up on Tuesday and MT had some fun trying to build with the kit, decorate AND EAT; it was after all the 13th day of Christmas(!) It’s still sticky in my house from all the icing

Will my car start today?? I’m a bit worried since it’s a little cold outside and it’s kind of early. But then, it started yesterday! Today it’s going to the garage. That’s a good idea, even though I don’t really want to pay for it.

I’m going out!

It’s around 17 degrees below zero here at the moment; and my car won’t start Was a bit worried about that since I have no way of heating up the motor (or what to call it!) and it have been a tiny bit difficult to start it before when cold….so that’s life! My dad is coming to my rescue – and I have made appointments with the garage to look at the car battery on Friday – but right now we are stuck here at home. MT too, it is just too cold to walk over a mile in this weather! He’s eager to meet his friends at the kindergarten, though, so I guess I’ll drive him up with my dads car later.

In a few hours I have confirmant class. Better start planning them!!
