This day we invited four lovely young girls to dinner. It was so nice They all work for YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and I admire their commitment and courage for doing what they do. In just a few weeks three of them are off to Milan for 4 months as short time missionaries. My hope and prayers are that they are safe and get to talk with people about Jesus; spread his words in a good way. The fourth girl I know better, we have been working together for a couple of years already, right now she is in school (with the other ones) – but when they go out she comes back her to spend her last months among the youths right here at our place

This morning our car started, at first try, without even acting like there should be a problem. I think this is a car with personality too; I usually end up with such cars Anyway, it’s going to the garage on Friday for some service, so we’ll see if they can find anything out of order.

Today we invited our new neighbor with kid. It was fun to get to know them a bit better and even though the mother is a lot younger than me we had some common ground coming from the same area and all. MT is so glad to have a 5 year old neighbor, hopefully they can become good friends and have much fun togheter.

It was quite an international party; us and one of the girls from Norway, one from Wales, one from Finland and one from California, US. Most of the conversation went on English – I feel so insecure there and so not used to talking it (writing is another thing all together!) – but we managed helping each other find the words.

The girls visiting are all students at one of the Youth With A Mission’s schools in Norway. It was nice to get to know them a bit better (one of them I know quite well already) and to be able to cook a dinner for them as well. We had trout with potatoes, broccoli and sour cream. Delicious!!

The rest of the day was pretty basic and, sadly, not too good. I really feel so vulnerable these days, it only take a few wrong words towards me and I’m right in the cellar (emotionally) before you know it. I don’t like feeling like this and wish my life wasn’t so much a roller coaster right now. Anyhow, I need my sleep to function – so better get some!
