Finally they finished laying the new decking outside. It looks good now, not as messy as it did before. I wonder what I’m going to put there….. ;)

I love living by the river. I love living by any kind of water, to be honest.

80/365 – July 15th 2010

I went by my parents this evening. My mom made me dinner and then we moved out in the tent (of sorts) and had coffee and sweets. It’s been a while since it’s been only me, my mom and my dad together for an whole evening. Strange but nice. Missing MT a whole bunch.

The Red Rule demanded this picture taken. In this case you might even call it the Blue Rule as the door was just as important as my friends coat, but anyhow. I spent a nice evening in this house, chatting, eating, laughing and even got a late evening walk in the rain.

82/365 – July 17th 2010

I’ve read these books several years ago. Now I’ve started up again and added two books to the collection as well. This is #4 of 9, so I have great reading for the whole summer :)

On my way home in the early evening – after having had three services in three different churches – the sun shone so beautifully at the river. I had to capture it.

I’m so glad we didn’t hang out at home until it had been to late for a bath. That happens sometimes. But today we managed to get out of our house and drive to a great place for bathing right by my parents house. We even got my mom to come, she brought coffee and cookies and we spent a few hours by the lake together.

He’s not as eager to go out and play in the rain as he was when he was little, but he still loves to make his own dams and rivers on a good rainy day.

65/365 – June 30th 2010

Sometimes the sunset really is strong in color. I love how the river reflects it.

66/365 – July 1th 2010

Today we visited IKEA and MT got to try out how a Loft Bed feels. He’s warming to the idea, but still thinks he has an alright bed as it is. I don’t agree, so come fall we’ll be back buying this one. | Note to self: I have to make a blog post about this day and the trip to IKEA, not often we are told to leave the building, I’m just saying… |

67/365 – July 2nd 2010

Every now and then MT asks me to come and play some football (soccer) with him. This time I tried to capture us while playing. The photo is just a strange one, but it makes me happy.

68/365 – July 3rd 2010

He insisted on taking a bath. The water was cold, so this is as far as he got. But at least he got to try.

69/365 – July 4th 2010

After driving all night we were greeted by the morning sun on the ferry taking us over to the north side of the fjord. It’s so good to be with friends for a couple of days, an so great to be in the western side of Norway again. I like it here.

MT is so looking forward to three days of football school. He’s jumping up and down of pure joy and doesn’t even care that he doesn’t know the other kids of his age group that much…

57/365 – June 22nd 2010

From my walk by the river, lots and lots of beautiful flowers along the way, I really liked this bright yellow one even thought it’s a bit blurry…

……………………………..
58/365 – June 23rd 2010

I went by MT’s football school today at lunch time. And this is how they cool off the children ;) it’s been a really warm day. MT is having so much fun and learning a lot about the play too. He had so much fun following the sprinklers around the field, jumping up and down. And when he came up to me afterward he was dripping wet from top to toe.

59/365 – June 24th 2010

Sometimes and evening photo is all I can manage, it’s been a busy day – and a busy busy week.

60/365 – June 25th 2010

Last fall they had to dig around the house since there was some trouble with a damp cellar. Now they are finally here to clean up and finish the job. It is so nice to see the ground flat and even again. I look forward to see the grass taking over…

61/365 – June 26th 2010

We where playing outside, throwing a ball over the table. He was throwing in all kinds of directions and I told him to play nice. “Me, I didn’t do anything”, he told me with a fake smile.

62/365 – June 27th 2010

Today I had service in this and one other church. I love this old church, it’s beautifully built and quite old. It was a beautiful day as well.
