O.k. I admit it. I’ve been trying out a few different approaches on the 365-project side of things, and I haven’t been absolutely perfect in any of them. But I’ve still had some fun and learned a whole lot about me, photographing and blogging. So I’m not afraid to try it ONE MORE time ;) This time I’m using my handy with-me-to-almost-all-places-camera; my cell phone. It doesn’t take super good photos,  but this is about preserving memories from each day and not about capturing images for wall hanging…. or so I tell myself ;) I’m using the ShakeIt app for iPhone to turn my photos into Polaroid (mostly because it’s fun to shake the phone and for the most amazing sound it makes… hehe). To make the photos more alike (kind off), I’m planning to use this approach for the next year. I might change my mind later, but I can live with that. I’m kind of used to being me by now and I love to change it all up from time to time. So I’m not making any promises…

Playing a bit catch-up here, but her is the fifth week of the project – with photos and a few words:

Keeper

~~~ 29/365 ~~~
Another Football Match Tuesday. This time he got to try out being keeper; and he loved it (most of the time). (May 125th-2010)
By the sea side
~~~ 30/365 ~~~

I went on a little trip with my colleagues down to the sea side. Nice. The walls of the room where we stayed were paper thin – and we girls had to keep our voices down… Not so easy. LOL. (May 26th-2010)

Old Biky

~~~ 31/365 ~~~
My dad brought me my bike. Nice to see you old fella. One of these days I’m going to give you more air for the tires. Then we might get going somewhere. Lots of great bike trials around here! (May 27th-2010)
Living Room
~~~ 32/365 ~~~

Ah, not a paper on the floor. Pure bliss. Our living room as of late May (May 28th-2010)

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pokal
~~~ 33/365 ~~~

We went to a football cup in the neighborhood. The team did some really good matches, but lost a few as well. MT was keeper the whole time and did well, even though he didn’t catch them all. He was a bit down about that, but we figured even a super good keeper misses a few balls now and then – and he’s just seven and new to this keeper business – so lets not aim for the sky. He loved the price, though, it’s proudly placed on his window still. (May 29th-2010)

Tumbling around

~~~ 34/365 ~~~
He was trying to kick the football while standing on his hands. I have no idea why ;) (May 30th-2010)
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Home from School

~~~ 35/365 ~~~
Once a week MT goes home from school. Because of the big road he’s not allowed to walk here alone – so I go and meet him. Today he made a run for it. (May 31th-2010)
Thinking MT
~~~ 1/365 ~~~

It was MT’s own idea to stand like this. I love the colors and the feel of it. I took a few photos this day, but this is my Favorite with a big F. I had fun exploring our home and garden with the new apps for iPhone, trying out a few different versions – but settling on ShakeIt app for the 365-project. We had some warm comfy sunny weather this day. (April 27th-2010)

Rain Drops

~~~ 2/365 ~~~
This was a cold and wet day, so different from yesterday! On the way back home I captured the rain on my windshield. (April 28th-2010)
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Red Boat

~~~ 3/365 ~~~
Another warm and beautiful day. Crazy how the weather changes from a day to another. I went to a meeting with the other pastors in our area. On my way back home I just had to stop by this mountain lake and snap a few images. Wish I had my big camera with me, though, this could make for a good big photo on the wall…. When I returned I met two Confirmant groups in two different churches and had rehearsals for the coming Confirmation services. It still amazes me how different the youths reacts to church and faith. I’m both intrigued and worried about it, but mostly it makes me want to learn more about what they believe in and share my belief with them even more. (April 29th-2010)
Big Grin 3
~~~ 4/365 ~~~

I love this guy. And his BIG smile. I love him when he’s not smiling too. (April 30th-2010)

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Driving Tractor with a Big Smile
~~~ 5/365 ~~~

He was so proud. And loved sitting with Grandpa in the tractor. Looking forward to see him learn what farming is all about, watching Grandpa work is a good beginning as well is getting into the action… MT was at the farm from Saturday to Sunday so I could fully concentrate on the big Confirmation services ahead. (May 1st-2010)

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Flag 1
~~~ 6/365 ~~~

Yay. I got the flag up. All by my self. A little proud of that. A beautiful day, both people-wise and weather-wise. In the evening we visited some friends of my parents for coffee. Nice that as well :D (May 2nd-2010)

~~~~~~~~~~~~
View from a Tractor
~~~ 7/365 ~~~

I’m so glad I finally got to help my dad at the farm, if only a little. Driving the tractor up and down harrowing the field. I wish I could help him more. MT found courage in himself to go down and get to know one of my parents neighboring kids – and had a lots of fun playing soccer and jumping on their trampoline. A good day :) (May 3rd-2010)

Thinking MTI’ve been a bit unsatisfied with the camera on my iPhone. I just couldn’t get it to take good photos on a regular basis. So I almost never used it. Even though I carried the phone with me far more often than my other big camera (especially during our cold winter…).

That was until I tired a few of the many photo apps for iPhone.

I’ve had so much fun today, and even thought it cost me a few bucks – it was well worth it (and I  really could not buy ice cream this week anyhow).

Now I plan on using the camera on hand more often, so nice to capture the moments when it happens.

So far my favorite app are: ShakeIt Photo (I just love the sounds it makes; and yes, I’m easily amused) I also like CameraBag and Best Camera and look forward to explore more later. Here are a few more photos I shot today:

Do you have a favorite app?

Elgs in Field

I was just stepping outside to get a little photo of the rain with my iPhone when I suddenly came aware of a sound near by. I lifted my head and looked over at the field right across our lawn only a few meters from me – and then I saw one of the little elg (elk) calf running around like crazy while shouting some kind of  iyah, iyah-sound – and right behind came the other calf also running and shouting. It all happened so fast, I barely got time to raise my camera and get a photo of them, before I know it they were running up towards the farm on the little hill above our house and away from me.

It’s not the first time we’ve met elg outside our door step, but it’s always amazing. And this time it was so fun, because these little elg calf are too cute!! <3 Late July I got a photo of the whole family together, a rare treat even though we live in the middle of wilderness….. (taken with my regular camera – can you blame me for dreaming about a 200 mm lens?! Imagen the close up I could have gotten here!!)

elg visit..

watch out for elg

Signs like this are common around our neighborhood; be aware of elgs (elks). ;)
