I tried to tell my kid about this day – Valentin’s Day – but he just answered that he didn’t like such HEART days and that I just could forgot hearing him telling me “I love you”. So it was not a big heart day in our house There is always next year..

Instead we spent it doing our favorite things; MT watched cartoons and played games, I slept long and scrapped pages. It was a good day I made/finished this and this and this!

We spent New Years eve with my brother, SIL, nephew and niece and had a great time together with them. What a nice way to spend the last hours of 2008 and the first hours of 2009!! Love you guys!

I have some photos to show you from Christmas and New Years but it have to wait until I can get them off my camera. I want to wish anyone who reads this all that is good and a BLESSED NEW YEAR!!! Take care.

My new laptop is acting up and I’m here writing on my old – and on a mission to figure out how I can get the new one to boot correctly so I can get into my files again. I miss them I’m terribly scared, thought, that I have to delete it all to make it work, so far all attempts to boot in safe mode or reinstalling the windows files have gotten unexpected errors and haven’t helped a bit. Any ideas you can throw me is highly appreciated. It’s a dell of the xps kind.

Off to search for some answers.

My mom is finally getting her self set up with the laptop and broadband kind of life

I’m on the search for a good computer for her. Not to expensive, but one that runs smoothly and have the main features like vista and such – and have power enough to run things efficiently (my mom is not good with the concept of waiting), lol. I don’t think she needs super space for storage, though, since she haven’t got any digital camera other than on the cell phone.

I think she should buy a Dell, even though it’s not the cheapest one around, but she is not very experienced at computers and so far both my dells have been almost trouble free. If she meets to much trouble logging on and in, I’m afraid she’ll stop using it after a few tries. I want her to enjoy using the laptop and be on often enough to get the hang off it. This will be a nice way for her to keep in touch with her grandchild AND with friends. And me and my SIL, off course, if we ever dare to tell her where to find us

Please, tell me what laptop you would recommend to her!
