Songbird Avenue is out with a new kit, FROSTY KISSES. It is so gorgeous and perfect for all of the winter photos we are going to snap, not to mention for Christmas!! I just had to scrap a few of the photos from MT skiing on Saturday (I have a bunch, will upload tomorrow!). Those snow flakes will be used over and over again, and the papers are so diverse and beautiful – not to mention many! This kit is my favorite from Songbird Avenue since I started following their blog in June, way to go you guys!
Songbird Avenue is out with a new kit for October. The Peachy Keen kit.
You can read more about it and the designer at Songbird Avenu‘s home page.
This kit is super for all your girly desire, with it’s peachy feel and soft colors, but with a bit of blending (I’ve learned a lot of new stuff lately ) – it’s suitable for boys as well. I especially love the stronger and darker colors of this kit.
Here is my favorite LO using this kit:
I love this photo of MT, it was taken last Saturday (October 11th) when we were out walking around in the forest and fields by our house.
Some lime blogging news.
The other day I started a new blog at Blogger. I love this blog, having my own domain and using the fantastic WordPress. But I found it was time to give blogger another try. I’m so tired of not being able to comment on blogs (or at some blogs that is) because I’m not a member my self. So instead of going head on I decided to join forces with them – and opened Lime scrapped. It is going to be the place where I post my scrap pages and tell you a bit about them. I’ll also post about other digi scrapbooking resourses that I find interesting. Some of the stuff you might find here as well, but most of it will be at my new blog from now on (that is at least the plan right now). When I get around to it I’ll make my own header and maybe dive down into the html kind of things, but still I’m using it as-is…..
So if you like to talk digi scrap, come on over!! I’d love some company
Songbird Avenue is having a scraplift challenge for September, and here is my go:
I scraplifted this page from Angela Powers. Using this months kit “Autumn Woods”.
Another month and another gorgeous kit from Songbird Avenue. It’s almost like I want the months to change faster….
Good for all the fall photos we are going to snap The colors are really starting to show here in the north.
So far I’ve only used it once for this scrap:
I loved taking MT to kindergarten by bike and feet, too bad we now live to far away to do that often. I think he loved it too and he felt so big riding his bike on the road and all….
After a couple of months scrapping I’m hooked. It is soooo fun! You should try it sometime
One of the great thing about digital scrapbooking is that there is so much to choose from, come to papers and decoration. I’ve found several wonderful places to search, but one stands out. At Songbird Avenue it is possible both to get and to give! Each month a new beautiful and creative kit comes for sale, and most of the income are passed on to a charity of some kind. What a wonderful idea.
This months kit are named Change.
I’ve used it a lot this month, and today I made the above srap for the Scraplift Challenge.
The inspiration for my scraplift I found in Christy Lyle’s scrap page about her daughter, Posing Princess. I loved her blocks of paper behind the photo and my plan was to also use a image with less colors, but well, I love the colors of my photo and made the papers a bit less colorful instead
I finally got to join in on one of the ScrapMatters Speed Scraps this afternoon. All the others have been in the middle of the night (my time) and I just couldn’t get my self out of bed to join. This one, however, suited me fine (off course MT didn’t like it very much so he splashed water all over the bath room floor. And then he made up a story to tell me – and the kids in preschool, apparently – that he had put socks in the toilet. He never did it – but he got me worried – and himself a good laugh on mommy’s expense! What a boy. ). Anyway, this is what I came up with, click the photo for credits.
Note: After the challenge I corrected a wrong spelling and added the small photo of the umbrella.
